The Saskatoon Fire Department says a middle aged man was taken to hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle rollover Monday morning at Idylwyld Drive and Highway 16. The department was called out about 3:20. The man was still trapped in the vehicle when crews arrived. Saskatoon Police say he had not been wearing a seat belt. A middle-aged woman had self-evacuated by the time firefighters arrived. She too was taken to hospital, with undetermined injuries. At last word, police were still going over the scene and south-bound traffic was restricted to one lane.
