The Chief of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations is pleased that the casinos, including the SIGA casinos, can re-open again on July 9th.
Bobby Cameron says First Nations communities, organizations and businesses have been severely affected by the invisible enemy that is COVID-19.
He adds the staff and management of the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority have been working behind the scenes to ensure all health and safety measures will be in place and strictly monitored.
Some of the precautions include markers inside and out to encourage physical distancing, a pre-screening and hand sanitizing before entering, and everyone will have to wear a mask or face shield.
