More long-standing entertainment and activity options in Saskatoon are getting set to re-open next week for residents and visitors…but with physical distancing in mind!
Two outdoor pools will open…Riversdale on Tuesday and George Ward on Wednesday. Both will be in full compliance with the guidelines and restrictions laid out by the province’s Chief Medical Health Officer and regulated under the Saskatchewan government’s Re-Open plan. With public safety in mind, both pools will be open for a series of two-hour sessions with a 30-minute cleaning and sanitizing period in between. Swim session bookings will be taken by phone starting Monday. Eventually, on-line bookings will be available through the city’s website and there will be limited walk-in spots available for each session.
Meanwhile, Wednesday will see the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo open for the season. Admission will be limited to 300 people per one-hour session. Zoo hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
