Road restrictions are in place at the Emergency Department of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and Royal University Hospital Adult Emergency. Construction is taking place at the outdoor play area on the second floor of the Children’s Hospital directly above the roadway. Visitors and staff are encouraged to stay away from the designated construction areas. Construction is expected to last until mid-September. Altered access is available daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Staff must enter the Children’s Hospital through the main floor entrance or access through RUH entrances. All other patient and family entrances remain unaffected.
Emergency rooms are also available at Saskatoon City Hospital, open 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and St. Paul’s Hospital, open 24 hours a day.
