As of Tuesday, two family members or support people can be available for residents of long term care facilities but only one person can be present at the facility at a time.
For critical care and intensive care patients, end of life or palliative care patients, and maternity, two people can be present at one time if physical distancing can be maintained.
Those visiting must wear a medical grade mask, must physical distance, practice hand hygiene and maintain limited movement within a facility.
There are rules now being applied so additional family members or support persons can be identified for end of life, palliative and intensive/critical care.
Those guidelines are available here.
