Members of the Saskatoon Police Service saved 3 lives in the space of 4 hours following overdoses.
Saskatoon Police say the first incident happened around 10:30 Monday night behind a convenience store in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North where an officer found a 43 year old man lying in an alley who wasn’t breathing and had no pulse.
Then around 12:30 Tuesday morning, there was a call from the 100 block of Avenue R South about a 29 year old woman who had overdosed and was unresponsive.
And at 2 in the morning, a 50 year old man was reported to be lying on a sidewalk in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
In each case, Narcan was administered and in the first 2 cases CPR was conducted.
All 3 were transported to hospital.
