The Misericordia Community Hospital is under a full facility outbreak due to ongoing transmission of COVID-19.
A news release from Alberta Health Services says as of Wednesday morning, there were 20 patients at the hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in relation to this outbreak and 15 staff have also tested positive.
Three patients linked to the outbreak have died.
No patients are being admitted to the hospital and day procedures and visits are being postponed or rescheduled at another hospital.
All services, including the Emergency Department, are temporarily closed at Misericordia to incoming patients.
