Arson is responsible for a fire at a boarded-up house on the 400 block of Avenue E South late Wednesday afternoon. A caller to the Saskatoon Fire Department reported the vinyl siding at the back of the property was burning. Bystanders were trying to put the fire out as firefighters arrived. Damage is estimated at $1 thousand.
The Fire Department is reminding residence to be attentive to suspicious activity in their communities.
