The province has released its latest guidelines for more re-openings in Phase 4. Next Thursday, July 16th, racetracks and rodeo-related activities, car shows and tradeshows can begin again, and banquet and conference facilities can open, as can temporary food vendors. Live performances will be allowed in restaurants and licensed establishments, as well as at public and farmers markets, but dance floors and karaoke are still restricted.
Seating areas are now permitted at drive-in theatres as well as public and farmers markets, with physical distancing required. The government says in a news release that guidelines are also under development for door-to-door solicitation, garage sales and donating used items, however there is no timeline yet.
If you plan to camp this summer, visitors are asked to bring their own hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, maintain physical distancing, and respect the restrictions in place. There are safety protocols in place at the outdoor pools in provincial parks, including a significant reduction in the number of swimmers at one time.
