The tale of COVID-19 can be seen in new motor vehicle sales in Canada. In January, sales were over 112 thousand and over 126 thousand in February. That fell dramatically to a little over 96 thousand in March, plummeting to just over 47 thousand in April. But the swing-back began in May with sales up to 109,213.
Saskatchewan mirrored the national movement. Sales were at 3,128 in January and up to 3,525 in February. Then, in March, sales dropped to 2,441 and in April they were at 1,827. But, as with the national numbers, the reversal began in May with sales back up to 2,751.
