Prince Albert and area residents will soon be able to do some skating and swimming at city-run facilities.
In accordance with protocols set out by the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan, the Art Hauser Centre (pictured) will start up its ice plant on the week of July 27th with rental ice available after August 10th. Meanwhile, public swimming registrations are now being taken at the Kinsmen Water Park. Public swimming will be open from 12-30 to 2 p.m. daily with a maximum of 45 swimmers as outlined by provincial regulations. Pre-registrations to swim can be made between 6 and 11 a.m. for use later that day. As for ice installation at the Kinsmen and Steuart Arenas, dates have yet to be determined while swimming at the Frank J. Dunn Pool likely won’t be available until sometime this fall.
