Prince Albert Police have charged two people with numerous weapons and drug charges after members of the Street Enforcement Team (SET), the Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) seized a large quantity of drugs, a loaded handgun and more than $100,000 in cash as part of an investigation Thursday evening.
Following a two-month investigation, police executed a search warrant at a residence at Stull Place at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Inside the residence, police located the following:
- 285.5 grams of crack cocaine
- 2,065 grams of cocaine
- 335 grams of a cutting agent
- Rifle
- Cell phones
- Drug packaging materials
A 19-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man are facing charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and various firearms-related charges.
The 29-year-old man is also facing additional firearms-related charges of possession of weapons while prohibited, contrary to a 2018 court order.
