Just before three o’clock Sunday morning, a witness told Saskatoon Police that he saw a male and a female take a jogger stroller from a yard on the 11 hundred block of Pringle Way. The Air Support Unit was quickly able to locate two suspects. A ground unit was directed to the scene where the male fled on a bicycle and the female was taken into custody. Air Support was able to direct officers on the ground to the male, who was arrested. The female was charged with Possession of Cocaine and had a number of Traffic Safety warrants. The male had several Traffic Safety warrants and 17 Criminal Code warrants. The matter is still under investigation.
Saskatoon Police say a 35 year old woman was arrested after allegedly smashing two picture windows at a business on the 100 block of Avenue F South. Around 8:20 Sunday night, police were told a woman was throwing rocks at the windows. Two were damaged and the woman fled the scene. But, witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect who was located in an alley. Police say she resisted arrest but was taken into custody. Police allege she was carrying a large quantity of methamphetamine and was wanted on two criminal code warrants. She faces four charges and will be in court Monday.
