Staff at a business in Regina had to run out of the building after a man broke into the business, became violent, and appeared to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. Police say the suspect allegedly caused extensive damage to the building and stole money and merchandise. This all happened Monday over the noon hour on the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. Police allege the man was violent with them and ignored commands to comply. He was tasered and taken into custody. He had to be sedated by EMS and then taken to hospital for observation. 32 year old Joseph McKay faces a variety of charges including Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Assaulting a Peace Officer.
