The President of the Saskatchewan Medical Association is imploring residents to continue the defense against COVID-19. Doctor Barb Konstantynowicz says, thanks to people staying home, washing their hands, and physically distancing, we did not see in this province the level of first wave that was expected in the spring. But we have now had out highest daily number of cases since the start of the pandemic and the number of cases without identifiable links is growing.
That’s why she is calling on people to increase their defenses. Konstantynowicz wants people to stay home as much as possible, keep social distancing, avoid large gatherings, wash your hands frequently, and wear a mask.
And the is a another worry: Flu season is ahead and the medical profession is concerned about the combination of that with respiratory illness, and COVID-19.
