The Saskatchewan Health Authority has issued a COVID-19 advisory connected to the RM of Cut Knife and the RM of Hillsdale. The SHA says there has been an increase in community transmission of COVID-19.

The mode of acquisition could not be established for two cases. Medical Health Officer Dr. Mandiango Nsungu says contact tracing is ongoing but all residents in those areas are asked to be vigilant which includes hand hygiene, physical distancing, and using a mask when in a public area indoors.

The health authority says it issues a public health alert when there is a risk of transmission of COVID-19 and they haven’t been able to clearly identify all possible close contacts.
