A man is in hospital after hitting a deer just before midnight Friday night.
At approximately 11:57 p.m. the Saskatoon Fire Department was alerted to a collision involving a motorcycle and a deer at Highway 16 and Floral Road. One fire engine and one rescue unit were dispatched for response.
Upon arrival, fire crews located the motorcycle, operator, and deer on the highway.
Firefighter-paramedics assessed a 55 year-old man before loading him into a ground ambulance and accompanying him to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be serious injuries.
