A 34 year old man is in custody after a standoff at a home in the 200 block of Sherry Crescent in the Parkridge neighbourhood.
The Saskatoon Police Service was asked by the RCMP to help find a wanted man just before 1 Thursday afternoon.
A news release from the Police Service says it was thought the man may be in Saskatoon following an incident in Dundurn where a shot had been fired.
Patrol officers responded to Sherry Crescent where it was believed the man would be found.
Police determined there were adults and children in the home.
The Tactical Support Unit arrived in the Armoured Rescue Vehicle as a precaution because of the possibility of firearms.
A female left the house, the the male didn’t so the Crisis Negotiating Team made contact and he safely exited just after 3 o’clock.
Three children were found inside and no one was hurt.
Charges are pending.
