The Avenue C at 39th Street intersection will be closed starting Tuesday at 7 a.m. to install a temporary water main and that project will take 7 days to complete. Detours will be in place.
This is part of the larger five week project which started last Friday on Avenue C between 37th and 39th Streets. That area is closed for seven weeks to install a water main.
33rd Street will be closed between Neault and Kensington roads starting Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. for road construction. This project expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Detours will be in place.
Phase 1 and 2 of the 8th Street Water Main Replacement Project have wrapped up. The city starts the final phase Tuesday at 7 a.m. This will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. Phase three is on 8th Street from Preston Avenue to Campbell Avenue. Preston Avenue traffic going southbound will not be able to turn east onto 8th Street and are encouraged to use Main Street to detour around the construction zone.
Briarvale Road will be closed between Briarvale Court and Briarvale Crescent starting Tuesday for road resurfacing. The project is expected to take four days to complete. Saskatoon Transit may be affected by this construction work.
