The Saskatchewan Liquor and gaming Authority says about $3 million in charitable gaming grants have been distributed to more than 15 hundreds groups and organizations in the province in the last six months. Some of the bigger grants have been to Yorkton and surrounding area, receiving over $245 thousand, Prince Albert and surrounding area with over $237 thousand, and Estevan and Weyburn and area receiving over $146 thousand. The grants program is designed to support groups and organizations that conduct charitable gaming.
