Saskatoon Mayor says if it gets to the point mandatory masks can help keep the economy and schools open and keep people safe, the city will need to make it mandatory.

In terms of enforcing a mandatory mask policy Saskatoon’s Mayor says the City would work with the provincial government and the Saskatchewan Health Authority,but Charlie Clark realizes enforcement would be very difficult.

Mayor Clark feels it is unfortunate using a mask is proving so divisive when it is really a public health issue but he says we don’t want to go back to having people laid off again and business, many of which are already vulnerable, shut down again.
