Moose Jaw Police conducted a vehicle stop on Monday and spotted a firearm in the backseat. They got a search warrant and allege finding a loaded firearm and ammunition as well as 29 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $58 hundred. Another search warrant was executed at a residence on the 12 hundred block of 9th Avenue northeast where police allege finding another firearm, more ammunition, and cocaine.

Randy Payton of Caronport has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Proceeds of Crime, and firearms offences. Christopher Waffle of Moose Jaw is charged with Possession of Cocaine and firearms related offences. Both were remanded for court appearances. The investigation continues.
