There are a few more details about the fatal accident on Saturday near the community of Holbein.
Shellbrook RCMP were alerted about a 2-vehicle accident between Highway 693 and White Star Road.
Police say the initial investigation indicates an SUV with 4 people was traveling west on White Star Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another SUV with one person inside.
A passenger in the westbound SUV, a 41 year old man, was declared dead on the scene by EMS.
The other occupants, a 24 year old man and 2 41 year olds, were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the other SUV sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the westbound jeep was taken into custody at the Prince Albert Detachment and then released.
Alcohol is being investigated as a factor in this accident.
