The CEBL Summer Series ended early for the Saskatchewan Rattlers as they lost 87-68 to the expansion Ottawa BlackJacks in the final game of the tournament’s round robin. With a 1-and-5 tournament record the Rattlers will miss the play-off round that begins today (Thursday). First year Rattler coach Chad Jacobson says “nobody likes losing and missing the play-offs is very disappointing but this was a great group of men. True professionals who showed up every day and did their job to the best of their ability.”

The first game of the Summer Series play-off round will see Hamilton take on Niagara, followed by Ottawa and Guelph.
