There is a possibility of COVID-19 transmission at, now five, Regina businesses. The Saskatchewan Health Authority says risk to the public is considered low, but anyone who visited these locations is asked to self-monitor for symptoms of the virus for 14 days from when they visited the store.
On Sunday another business was added to the list as the SHA cautions anyone who visited the Superstore Albert Street South – Golden Mile, August 7 at approximately 7:30 – 8 p.m.
The Health Authority also announced that anyone who visited the Walmart Grasslands location in Regina on August 5th between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. is to self monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from last day they visited the store.
On Friday the SHA sent an alert saying anyone who was at the Harbour Landing Walmart between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the morning on Wednesday, July 29th, or on Thursday evening, July 30th from 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at the Bismillah Halal Meat and Groceries on Albert Street or the Golden Mile Real Canadian Superstore from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. the same night is asked to self-monitor for 14 days.
The SHA adds that testing for the virus is open to anyone who wants it.
