The province has approved the first intake of municipal projects under the Targeted Sector Support Initiative. 33 projects have received the green light. Government Relations Minister Lori Carr says, “Once completed, these projects will contribute to a stronger Saskatchewan and improve quality of life.” Some of the programs accepted are: $5 thousand for Warman for a Public Engagement Program: North Battleford gets $25 thousand for the Battlefords Regional Community Coalition, and the RM of Corman Park gets $75 thousand for a South End Concept Plan. The total value of the initiative is $1.18 million.
