A local entrepreneur and business owner is throwing her hat in the ring for the civic election. Carol Reynolds will be running in Ward 7. She says one of her top platforms is safety. Reynolds says, “The city needs to provide support for our front lines to do their jobs safely and efficiently. This includes police, fire, and healthcare workers.” Reynolds thinks that many would say that teachers should be in that category soon as well. She also lists taxes and accountability as priorities. The civic election is being held November 9th. Ward 7 is currently represented by Mairin Loewen.
