NDP Leader Ryan Meili says the government of Saskatchewan’s damage control efforts for their back-to-school plan is “too little too late”.
This in response to Premier Scott Moe’s announcement on Saturday that the school year would be delayed until after the Labour Day Long weekend, and that $40 million of extra funding is on its way.
Meili claims the Sask Party is spinning its wheels and that the NDP have pushing for a serious plan for the safe reopening of schools for months.
Meili says the government has no plan and no clue what do do, and Saskatchewan families are paying the price, with widespread fear and frustration as kids return to the classroom.
