Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed Saskatchewan’s Triple-A credit rating. Last week, Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings maintained its Double-A rating for the province and the Dominion Bond Rating Service acknowledged a Double-A rating in June. Moody’s says, “The credit profile of the Province of Saskatchewan reflected healthy liquidity levels and solid economic growth over the next three years that support rising revenues.” The rating agency says, “Economic growth also aids the province’s effort to return to balanced budgets this year,” and that, “debt affordability remains very strong.”
