Charges have been upgraded against two people in Regina as the Queen City records its ninth homicide of 2020.
The investigation began on August 1st when officers responded to a firearms call with a report of a man shot. They found a 30 year old man in Regina’s Mount Royal neighbourhood with serious injuries.
Police including SWAT and K-9 executed an emergency services operation the next day and made two arrests charging the accused with Attempted Murder.
The victim of this incident, Earl Francis Dufour, of Lebret, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
22 year old Dominick Mark Cochrane and 23 year old Angelica Violet Taypotat, both of Regina, were in court Monday to face a charge of First Degree Murder.
