Statistics Canada says productivity in Saskatchewan declined in 2019 by 2.7 per cent. We and Ontario were the only provinces in negative territory with Ontario down 0.6 per cent. The largest growth in Business productivity was in Newfoundland and Labrador at 3.5 per cent. Nationally, growth increased 0.4 per cent. Real GDP rose in eight provinces. It dropped in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
