The value of retail sales in Saskatchewan increased 7.9 per cent in June 2020 compared to June 2019, which was the third highest percentage increase compared to the other provinces, and more than double the 3.8 per cent increase posted for Canada, seasonally adjusted.
Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison says, “The growth in retail sales in Saskatchewan is strong as we continue to implement the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan,”
In June, the value of retail trade in Saskatchewan increased by 15.6 per cent from May seasonally-adjusted.
Total retail trade in June was over $1.7 billion.
