The province is reporting 2 new cases of COVID-19, 1 in Saskatoon and the other in the southwest, with 19 recoveries.
Adding up the totals from last Sunday through today (Sat), there have been 33 cases of the virus and 102 recoveries.
The total number of reported cases of the virus is 1,597 of which 117 are considered active.
The province says 76 of those are in Hutterite Colonies.
Five people remain in hospital in Saskatoon with 1 in intensive care.
On Friday, there were 1,757 COVID-19 tests performed.
The government has said the goal is to reach a capacity of 4,000 daily tests by early September.
Of the 1,597 cases in the province:
231 cases are travellers, 823 are community contacts (including mass gatherings), 479 have no known exposures, and 64 are under investigation by local public health
Overall in Saskatchewan:
65 cases are healthcare workers; however, the source of the infections may not be related to healthcare in all instances.
261 cases involve people 19 years of age and under, while the remainder are adults. 514 cases are in the 20-39 age range; 491 are in the 40-59 age range; 275 are in the 60-79 age range; and 56 are in the 80-plus range.
51 per cent of the cases are females and 49 per cent are males.
22 deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported to date.
