Saskatoon Police are looking for an indigenous male who was said to have stabbed two men in the Nutana neighbourhood in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At about 2:20 a.m., Police were called to a path near Victoria Avenue and Saskatchewan Crescent where they found a 41-year-old man suffering from a more serious injury than that of a 39-year-old man who was with him. The two say they were approached by an unknown male on a bicylce as they were walking in the area. When the victims refused a request for cigarettes, the suspect assaulted them with a knife. Both victims were taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services, treated and released. Police say the suspect has short hair, was wearing all dark clothing and riding a light coloured mountain bike. Members of the public with any information about this incident are asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service.
