A Saskatchewan short film is one of the first to be presented from the National Film Board’s pandemic project called The Curve. The National Film Board tasked creators and filmmakers to tell the stories from where they live, to highlight the different experiences and the similarities.
Kristin Catherwood was raised on a farm near Radville. She moved back during the lockdown to be with her dad and to be on the land. She hopes her film “In the Garden On the Farm” will introduce farm life to those who have never been.
Catherwood says even just a few months later, it feels like such a different time, so she hopes when people watch, they will think back to what they were doing and how priorities changed, with less hustle and bustle and more quality time.
