Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe is defending his statements regarding the motivation of the federal government over awarding money in Saskatchewan to infrastructure projects.
On Twitter Wednesday, Moe continues to emphasize that the infrastructure file is not Ralph Goodale’s re-election fund, it’s there for all of Saskatchewan. That after two pools in Regina, which are in Liberal MP Ralph Goodale’s riding, were granted infrastructure funding. Moe says they are not a priority for the province.
Moe points out that the Liberal government denied Prince Albert’s application for a new multipurpose facility because it was for a “semi-pro sporting franchise”. He notes that PA Raiders had a great year but are not a semi-pro team but rather community owned and a new facility would host other teams and activities with the proposed aquatic facility and multiple ice pads.
