Congratulations to the Saskatoon Outlaws for winning the Saskatoon Senior Baseball League title Thursday night, beating the Marysburg Royals twice to claim the best-of-three final 2-1.

After falling 3-2 in Monday’s opening game to Marysburg and a Wednesday rain-out, the Outlaws received a stellar pitching performance from Dan Morari in a 3-1, Game 2 victory…forcing a Game 3 right away at Cairns Field. In the all-or-nothing night-cap, Braden Bessel homered and Jason Lindberg was the pitcher of record in an 8-2 triumph.
