The number of active cases in Saskatchewan jumped up by 10, according to Monday’s report from the Ministry of Health. There were 11 new cases added with 1 recovery, bringing the number of active cases to 58.
One person remains in hospital, in Saskatoon, and is in intensive care.
Of the new cases, 2 are in the Far North West, 2 are in Saskatoon, 2 are in the Central West and there was 1 each in the South East, South West and South Central zones. The location of the 11th case is pending
The new cases bring the total COVID-19 count to 1,662 and there are now 1,580 recoveries.
As drive-through testing prepares to open Tuesday in Regina and Thursday in Saskatoon the province recorded performing 1,861 COVID-19 tests on Sunday.
