A man is facing charges after allegedly pointing a laser at the Saskatoon Police Department’s airplane Saturday morning.
Around 1:40, Air Support was able to locate the suspect. They directed ground units to the area of Weldon Avenue and 16th Street where a 37-year-old man was taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of two lasers.
The man is charged with Mischief, and Projecting a Directed Bright Light Source into Navigable Airspace.
