Emergency crews responded to a report of 2 people being robbed and assaulted in a motel suite in the 1800 block of Idylwyld Drive just before 9 this morning (Tues).
CJWW News was alerted by listeners this morning that Saskatoon Police, the Fire Department and ambulance personnel were at that location.
Police were told a man and woman unlawfully entered a suite and assaulted the 2 occupants, also a man and woman.
They deployed bear spray before the male victim was able to defend himself with a knife and the suspects fled on foot.
The victims, a 53 year old man and 41 year old woman, were not seriously injured and the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is continuing to investigate.
