A dangerous theft from the R-M of Leroy has Humboldt R-C-M-P concerned…and on the lookout for the thief or thieves.

The suspect or suspects took copper wire from a power pole at a rural location in the R-M of Leroy. The danger in this is that, since the metre is no longer grounded, the area around the power pole can become enlarged and lead to possible electrocution. Plus, there is a risk of fire from this type of theft. Anyone with information regarding this theft are asked to call Humboldt R-C-M-P or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
