Regina Police discharged a Conducted Energy Weapon Just before eight o’clock last night (wed) after a 30 year old man began to struggle with officers. It happened after police located a stolen vehicle in the area of the 900 block of Robinson Street. Police say the suspect managed to put the vehicle in motion as officers used the taser, trying to gain control of him inside the vehicle. The vehicle struck a tree and the officers continued trying to restrain the suspect. He was eventually taken into custody. The incident remains under investigation.
