On Monday, Regina Police were dispatched to a report of a man trying to punch another person. Police say when they arrived they witnessed the suspect run aggressively at the victim. When police moved in, they say the suspect tried to tackle one of them, and began grabbing for the officer’s duty belt. A taser was used and the suspect was arrested. There were no injuries. 26 year old Tyson William Kay is facing several charges including Assault, and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest. He is in Provincial Court on Tuesday.
