The Public Health Agency of Canada says that, since August 31st, there have been 49 additional Salmonella illnesses reported, linked to onions imported from the United States. There are now 506 confirmed cases in Canada. The Agency advises that you not eat, use, sell, or serve any red, white yellow, and sweet yellow onions from Thomson International of Bakersfield California, or any product made with these onions.
