A 79 year old man was beaten and robbed as he was leaving work late yesterday afternoon in Blaine Lake.

RCMP say he is the Grader Operator and was leaving the RM of Blaine Lake shop when he was jumped by two people.

That was around 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One suspect is an older indigenous male, heavy set, with long hair. The other was a younger indigenous man and thin. They stole the victim’s keys, cell phone and vehicle.

Police agencies continue to search for a 2007 Ford F-150 pick up with extended cab, grey in colour. The Saskatchewan license plate is 167 IUM.
