Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada is inviting people to wear a cap for brain cancer awareness on October 24th. People are invited to join the Hats for Hope movement by posting a photo of yourself in your favourite hat on social media that day using the hashtag #HatsForHope and tagging, @BrainTumourFdn. The Foundation says that, by doing so, you will be giving visibility to an invisible disease that affects thousands of Canadians each year, and sharing the hope for a cure found.
Throughout September and October, the organization has partnered with New Era Grafix to offer grey Roots toques emblazoned with the Hats for Hope patch. They can be purchased from New Era and through the Hats for Hope website. Proceeds go to Brain Tumour Foundation.
