We told you about the gun being fired in the 200 block of Akhtar Bend in Saskatoon’s Evergreen neighbourhood that has now led to an arrest and sizeable seizure of drugs. The original call was actually police responding to a report of someone damaging vehicles early Tuesday morning.
A search warrant was executed after officers, who discovered shell casings and an open door with no one home, allegedly spotted magic mushrooms when they went to investigate.
Police say substantial amounts of magic mushrooms and materials, like containers with spores to grow the psilocybin, THC capsules, THC extracts packaged for distribution, hard cocaine, soft cocaine, suspected heroin, suspected MDMA, $480 cash, a mobile device, two digital scales, a lap top and a computer tower, were all seized.
A 25 year old man is facing a variety of drug charges as well as Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000.
