A 20-year-old man faces four different charges after Saskatoon Police arrested him in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police responded to a woman’s call for help in a parking lot in the 3500 block of 8th Street at about 11:30 Sunday evening, complaining of a man approaching her vehicle that she was sitting inside of, yelling at her and striking the vehicle. The suspect male and the female are known to each other…and the man left before police arrived. However, police found the suspect’s vehicle a short distance away and attempted to apprehend him at about 1:30 a.m., Monday, when he returned to his vehicle. He took off at high speed before abandoning the vehicle in the 1100 block of McKercher Drive. The man was found by police, with the help of a canine unit, in the backyard of a residence in the 200 block of Leland Court. He was treated for dog bite injuries…and is charged with mischief, evading police, breach of court conditions and driving with undo care and attention.
