It was an evening shift in Airdrie, Alberta when RCMP officers walked out the back door of their detachment to answer a call. They came face-to-face with a group of teenagers. The officers asked what they were doing? The kids were there to say thank you to the officer who protect them. They were in the midst of placing Tim Hortons gift cards under the wipers of the police cruisers when the officers came out. The detachment says, the gifts of kindness and cards were much appreciated.
