An eight-month-plus investigation into a homicide has resulted in an arrest of an Onion Lake man and charges laid.

R-C-M-P arrested Vega Bear in Edmonton on Monday in connection with the death of Braden Richard Bull of Onion Lake, charging Bear with second degree murder. The North Battleford, Saskatoon and Prince Albert R-C-M-P General Investigation Section assisted the Onion Lake detachment with the investigation and arrest as the 24-year-old Bear made his first appearance in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Tuesday. The investigation into this matter continues.
